Recurring Sore Throat, Shooting Pain In Ear, Neck. Related To Vocal Nodules Or Polyps?

Hello, i'm a singer and for the past month I have had a recurring sore throat. Recently I have been getting shooting pain in the ear every now and then and some shooting pain in different locations of my neck. I have thought that It could be either vocal nodules or polyps, i'm only 17 years old and don't do lots of partying or drinking, I do not smoke, I do not yell and I sing properly. Although I have shooting ear pain and some neck pain which I thought could be related to vocal nodules or polyps, i'm not experiencing any hoarseness in my speaking voice what so ever, do you know what this could be? The only reason my sore throat has been going on for a month is because every time it's almost healed I do a lot of talking and when I wake up the next morning it is back.

hello
yes you got it right you need some rest and a general physician too.. you can start antibiotics like roxithromycin 100 mg every 12 hours and also an anti allergic like citrazine and phenylehrine ...
warm saline gargles can help you a lot friend........
most importantly you give some rest to your throat..
for vocal nodules and polyps you have to visit an ENT surgeon and need a complete examination...
hope it helps
