Red Dry Peeling, Itching, Oozing On Lips. Had Treatment For Infection Last Year, No Improvement. Recommendations?
hi, i have this red dry peeling and sometime itchy n oozing on lips and skin around lips. i had an infection last year with some organic lip balm and it was far worse back then.. i got rid of infection by an antibacterial cream.. but all that left behind this dry red flaky skin.. its been almost a year but nothing seem to work.. i also tried homeopathic treatment but still no improvement.. moisturizing creams vaseline but i m still suffering thru this.. i m 23 old female..

hi.. you have dry lips, peeling and oozing.. dryness could be due to dehydration, peeling due to the multivitamin deficiency.. oozing due to secondary infection of the peeled skin... now take lots of fluid, use good quality lip balm, start multivitamins with zinc,.. take antibiotics for the short duration... see your dermatalogist for this.. all the very best..
