Red Itchy, Burning And Leathery Scrotum, Protected Sexual Contact, Hydrocortizone, Micronozale. STD?

Red itchy, burning and leathery scrotum around 36 hours from protected sexual contact with sex worker. Applying hydrocortizone and miconozale ointment 3 times a day from very soon after first noticing symptoms. Now scrotum is scaley. Redness only very slightly better. Itchniness is better. Should I worry? Should I get STD tested?

Scrotal infections usually manifest in a very trivial form but may assume dangerous proportions. From your description it is clear that you have acquired some infection. Stop steroid creams immediately. Instead of self medicating , I would suggest you to consult a Genearl Surgeon for specialist advice and treatment.
