Red Rash On Eyes, Itching, Looks Like Bruises. What Could Be This?

Hello, my husband has this problem with his eyes lately. He has a red rash on both eyes and he says his eyes itch. when he sweats and it drips onto his eyelids it burns. Not sure what it is, but it usually goes away in a day but then the next day it is worse. It sometimes looks like little bruises. Could you maybe know what could be causing it?

itching in the eyes are suggestive of allergic problem..
wash your eyes with cold water frequently..
u need to visit ophthalmologist for treatment.. (mast cell stabilizer and low dose steroid)
