Hi - I think I have a fungal infection I'm not too sure! I started with what looked like a shaving rash (as the nurse said when i went for a swab test) (which was all clear a part from having Thrush) the rash has now spread and i have a few patches on my back and stomach. It sometimes itches. I am seeing my doc tomorrow to see what it may be. the rash is patches of red with white flaky bits in the middle and a few white dots too? do you know what it may be? Thanks (i'm female By the way!)
Hi Jessica,
By seeing your complains it appears that you are suffering from fungal infection of skin, it requires antifungal treatment with medications like ketaconazple, clotrimozole etc, avoid moisture, keep good hygine apply ont for 3 4 weeks continuosly, wash the cloths with warm water. consult dermatologist for further management, KOH mount may require to confirm it.
Take care
