Redness And Itching After A Bite On Calf. Applying Ammonia. Suggestions?
Hi there, I have what I think is a bite on my calf but I don't recognize it as fleas, mosquitos..the usual..it seems to be 1 bite then a smaller and then a slightly larger one in a row (all quite small). The day (3 days ago) that I became aware of it it was red and itching. I put some amonia on it and left it alone and it has not itched since..nor has it spread like a poisin oak. I live in No CA if that helps. Thanks
hello, ammonia is used to reduce itching after insect bites and at first wash you have to wash the area with warm water and soap and then you have to apply 1/4 cup of ammonia to 1cup of water and use cotton to rub on it,it will reduce itching but if the concertrated i just told stings you can use more water avoid using ammonia if there in sting.Thank you.
