Redness On Ankle Due To Rubbing, Pus-filled Blister. Should Wound Be Sealed?
Recently I went ice skating and the boots rubbed some of my skin off in my lower leg/ankle area. There are 3 areas in total, two had watered but now are only bright red in colour, however there is a smaller wound near my ankle which started to pus a little this morning. I got rid of the pus, washed it out with salt water and put alcohol gel on. then I put a plaster over it- last night I bandaged them up but allowed a gap for them to breathe- should I seal it up completely? Do I need to see a doctor or will it slowly get better itself?
Most of them heal well.Do not seal them otherwise they will get oozy. You can keep them open and apply antibiotic cream over it.
Hope this will solve query.Take care.
