Removed Old Tampon From Vagina, Bad Odor, Smelly Discharge. When Can I Have Oral Sex?

Went to obgyn and she removed a tampon that was stuck for 4 months there was foul smelling discharge and odor constantly .. Now on ATB . Will the odor go away? Can my partner and I have oral sex now it's taken care of?
I had no s/s of TSS.
In 2004 I had early DX of cervical cancer which I have been cleared is any of this cause for concern? I'm currently as if today taking flagy 500 mg BID for 7 days
I am a lesbian is it safe for oral sex again?

Hi and welcome to HCM, madam.
You should wait with seually intercourse till antibotic treatment is over. Smelling discharge will pass with treatment,but you should do swab test after therapy. YOu should do frequent check ups because of cancer in history. This includes colposcopy and PAPA test. There is no need to hurry with sex,because tampon was aggravated bacterial contamination and it wouldnt be safe for you and your partner to have any kind of sex. Wait 1-2 weeks after last antibiotic pill.
