Renal Function, Effects Of Medical Marijuana On Kidney

Hi, I have a question regarding mmj and renal function . I have 20 percent of renal function but I also have a prescription for mmj for another issue. I was just wondering what the effects of marijuana are on the kidneys and if it damages it? I am not on Dialysis yet and I understand that I need to be clean for 6 months before getting on a transplant list.
