Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

From your report, it is inferred that there is no further progression for the spermatocyte stage in the seminiferous tubule. This means the growth of the immature spermatocyte is arrested or stopped further.

There are many rearons for this to occur:

1. Primary arrest: due to genetic cause.

2. Secondary arrest: due to underlying medical conditions like exposure to toxic substances (radiotherapy, chemotherapy, antibiotics), heat or general diseases (liver or kidney insufficiency, sickle cell anaemia).

Hoe this helps.
