Right Ear Lobe Swollen, Oozing Blood And Pus In The Pierced Site. Solution?
I had my ears pierced with one piercing 20 yrs ago then 9 years ago I pierced a second hole in both ears and have worn earring s ever since..for the past month, my right ear lobe has swollen and has blood and pus coming from the pierced area..a few weeks ago my left ear started doing the same thing..this has been constant every day for a month. I clean it but doesn't seen to help.

This time the piercings are infected.
Requires both the rings to be removed . Proper dressing along with antibiotic will alleviate the problem.
When the wound are healed properly , repeat piercing with proper aseptic precaution can be done.

I had carefully think over your symptoms, It appears as you are having inflammation of ear lobule. Since it is bilateral and most of the times it is allergic manifestation with super added infection.
Some times the metal of ear rings / tops are allergic to some individuals and this type of problems comes.Here I would like to suggest you that your ear had been already pierced for quite long back therefore no question arises for any infection concerned with ear piercing. It is all allergic inflammation.
Now I would like to suggest you -
1- Ointment having antibiotic + steroids should be use locally.
2- Please change the ear ring (to avoid allergen).
I hope this will solve your problem otherwise you will have to consult dermatologist.
