Right Side Of Lower Back Seems To Lock While Using Right Foot For Stepping Down, Pain Radiates To Butt Area. Any Ideas?
I am 19 years old and am about 5 foot 1in and weigh about 117pounds and have a good and healthy medical history. Recently once in a while i notice when i step down on my right foot the right side of my lower back seems to lock up and almost feel like it needs to crack but cant. the pain goes down into my butt area also. any idea what could be causing this? thanks
It is nice to know that you have a good medical history. You can take a warm bath with epsom salt to get relief from your symptom. You can also try hot fomentation or use heating pad in the area where you get the pain. It should get reduced.
In case the symptoms still persist you should consult a doctor and get radiology done to diagnose the problem. You should be clinically examined. Your spine needs to be examined ( L2 and L3 ) since the pain is radiating into the butt area.
You can consult a physiotherapist and get examined. He can suggest you some exercises that will cure your problem. You can use some muscle pain sprays and take calcium and mineral tablets as dietary supplement. Take care.
