I ripped part of my thumb nail and bed off in a freak accident with a cheese grater 2 days ago. The thumb has become very hot and pulsates hard. I am also experiencing constant pain up my arm right the way to my shoulder and periodically a nerve type shooting pain in my thumb. It is excruciatingly painful! To turn up at a and e like it would look ridiculous as it doesn t look that bad, however VERY PAINFUL, even taken tramadol with no effect!
