I have clear sticky liquid that is coming from a few scabs in my hair it itches really bad and I try not to scratch but its overwhelming I noticed when I do scatch I scatch out the scabs and thats when the liquid comes now the liquid is coming without scratching I know how to dry it up but it doesn t help when I comb my hair and open the scabs again what should I do this problem has been going on for two months!
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Use an antibacterial shampoo like betadine Ad/ cetrilac to wash your hair daily till the lesions subside. If the scabbed lesions are discrete then apply a steroid antibiotic cream over affected area. Avoid removing the scab and use a wide tooth comb to comb hair. The lesions should subside in few days. One should also try to rule out the cause for such lesions. It could be due to severe dandruff, boils, lice infestation etc. Hope that helped
