Scar On Lung. Had TB In Childhood. Solution To Remove Scar?

I am 36 years old female, recently I found that I have a small scar on my lung , right side when I went for medical screening test for residence visa in Abu Dhabi. As per 3 radiologists comments of old TB, my visa is rejected and came back to my home country. I did ECR, PCR, Mantoux , Speutum test in Abu Dhabi and CBO, and all negative. Only because of the X-ray I was rejected. I went to several doctors and they say the scar can not be removed and no medicine for that, further I don t want any medicine for TB as it s not active. I got to know from my parents, that I had TB in my childhood and cured totally as prescribed by doctors. But this scar is main problem for getting visa. If I can not remove this scar, I won t be able to settle with my husband in Abu Dhabi, due to their law on PTB. So can you please help me how can I remove the scar from medicine. thanks.

Hi,
Just for the sake of visa do not take any medications. Old healed lesions are common and do not require any intervention. If they are getting affected by recurrent infections then they can be surgically removed but not otherwise.
You can visit Pulmonary medicine department in Government hospital / medical college and after evaluation by them, you can get it certified by them that "you do not have any active Pulmonary Tuberculosis at present". The same certificate can be attached and submitted for visa purpose.
