Scheduled For Hyst, No Bleeding Since. Advised Uterus And Ovaries Removal. Is It Required ?
Is it common to have your Hyst. and remove both the uterus and the ovaries. My doctor said we will probably make that decision when we go in. If I'm under and can't make this decision will they do it anyway. We talked about the fact that if Cancer might occur later we would eliminate this now instead of later.
Also, I've had two Ablation since sept. and both did not work 1st ended with a DNC and a blood clot, 2nd ended in a DNC, device would not allow it. They have no idea why. Have not bleed since but Hyst. is scheduled. Have had bleeding issues since 2011, Should I still keep my Hyst weather or not I'm bleeding ?
Yes, you should most certainly go ahead with the hysterectomy. As for the bilateral salphingo-oopherectomy (BSO), that can only be decided based on the condition and possible spread of your current condition to the ovaries. But you should go ahead with the humysterectomy.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
