Scraped Hand, Bruise, Lump On Lower Side Of Stomach, Hard Lump. Suggestions?
MY daughter is 12 and fell about 10 days ago and scrapped her hand and bruised her side really bad. Her side hurt for a while but last night she said she had a lump on her right lower side of her stomach where the bruise was. It doesn t hurt but its the size of a golf ball and hard. Do you have any suggestions on what it is?

The hard area is likely fibrosis or the formation of scar tissue. After an acute trauma or inflammatory process , scar tissue forms.
This tissue is hard to the touch.
As remodelling continues this area would become softer, it can sometimes take weeks or months for this to occur.
