Scraping Feeling On Head Where Head Was Banged Against Corner Of Window, Fainting, Memory Loss. Opinion?

I banged the centre of the top of my head off a corner of a open window 3 times in one week! Ever since then I have had a scraping feeling were I banged my head, its been several months now as I thought it was nothing mabey just a way of itself healing (if I could put it that way) today I clapsed/fainted but felt no symtoms before or after apart from memory loss, any suggestions of what this could be? I know you will look at this and probably think "just go see a effin doctor"! And I am but my health centre is useless due to lack of staff and doctors that are there are just useless. Please help! Many thanks.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.

Based on your symptoms, you loss of consciousness for a short duration could be due to syncope or seizures.

Seizures can occur following a head injury, and this is called as post-traumatic seizure. Evaluation would require doing a brain scan (CT or MRI brain) and EEG. If it is confirmed, you would require treatment with anti-seizure drugs.

Syncope is common fainting, which gets aggravated with exhaustion, low blood pressure, severe pain, etc. This generally does not require any medications.

I hope it helps. Please get back if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
