Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear of this low sperm count your husband has the difficulties getting a second pregnancy.

This sperm count is very low and the chances of impregnating a woman are very low given these findings. How well the drug would help him can only be deduced through regular follow up. Any increase in his count increases his chances but this is going to be a very difficult journey. Patience is the key and results are not guaranteed.

There are other means that can guarantee pregnancy like in vitro fertilization, intra uterine insemination. This would circumvent the barrier of low counts and assure that fertilization and pregnancy get going. I will suggest that you meet and talk with a fertilization expert to get informed on the various available options in your milieu.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask follow up questions. I wish you well and hope you soon get the pregnancy you have been longing for.
Thanks.

OB & GYN Specialist Dr. Dr. ARIF N K's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. After analyzing your husbands sperm count, its ideal to repeat the semen analysis and confirm the findings. Then accordingly if the counts are still low I advise you to go ahead with Ovulation induction and IUI (intra uterine insemination). Procedure depends on the motility, viability and normal morphology of the sperms.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow-ups. If you like my answers kindly rate it, and write a review as well. Please do not forget to accept it.
Thank you,
Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr Arif
