ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for choosing H.C.M. for query.

By your query I came to know that you are a chronic patient of respiratory tract infection and you are a diagnosed case of community acquired pneumonia and had undergone thoracentesis left side. At present you are spitting white sputum and having irritation in throat.

For the diagnosis and treatment point of view you should do these investigations-

1- C.T.scan thorax.

2- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab including fungal culture also.

3- Sputum for Afb.

By these investigations we identify the infection and thus we may plan for treatment.

Regards.
