Seem To Have Recurring Sinus Infections, Two Or More A

Seem to have recurring sinus infections, two or more a year. Have been trying to cure it with amoxicillin as I have issues taking certain drugs either with rash or bowel problems. Augmentin as an example causes bowel issues. I think I had a slight rash issue a few years ago with Z pack.. Had achille tendon surgery so am kind of leery about taking medication that can cause tendon weakness. Took Ceftin last December for sinus, 250 mg for 10 days. Knocked it down, for the most part, but think that I still have had a low grade sinus infection for months. Went to urgent care and took 500 mg. amoxicillin 2x day for 10 days. Still have sinus and left ear ache, with some fluid and reduced hearing in that ear.
Issues with sulfa drugs too. What drug regimen would knock this sinus issue out safely as possible with least chance of reaction of rash or diarrhea, or potential tendon issues. My system just seems sensitive. 63 year old male in generally good shape and health, non smoker, light drinker, on omeprazole quite a lot, which may be hampering the drugs for the sinus issue. Need to call my primary physician as his recommendation of erythromycin for 10 days was held up by my druggist for previous minocycline reaction.
