Semen Analysis Done. Abnormal Morphology. Get Pregnant?

hi im nel pascual 39yrs old... i had my semenalysis yesterday with the ff results... 37.5 ml sperm counts, 75 % motility but it bothered me to know that i had 52% abnormal morphology ... ph 8.5... just want to know if it matters in our desire to have a baby... we are 3 years married without a child yet... the ist pregnancy of my wife was blighted....
hoping for some clarification on my probs... tnx so much

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. However I would like you to focus on the positive. If you had 52% abnormal morphology you probably have 48% normal morphology of sperms. I believe that with the number of sperms in your sperm count that have 75% motility you have enough sperm to fertilize a healthy ovum. I do not think that there is any cause for concern and you might have to do your best and leave the rest to nature. If you are having troubles conceiving a child with your wife, you might need to have IVF or IUI done to increase the chances and please consult a specialist for the same.
