Semen Analysis Done. Pus Cells Found, Sperm Motility Normal. Am I Fertile As Per Report?
I am 25 year old. In my semen examination report, i have doubt in below Cells in semen :4-6/HPF. What doe it mean. Volume is 2.0 ml and Liquification time is 30 min. Actively motile sperm are 50% In Morphological report: imature: 10%, Abnormal: 10% . Other is in normal range :). Plz let me know what does above mean. Am i fertile
/HPF means high power field. normal semen levels are .100/HPF
volume is >2.0ml
active motile sperms >50% however 50% is also exceptable
and more than 30% are required with normal morphology for fertility.
these are the normal results.
the results you are having are slights abnormal with main focus on low sperm ells production.
we cannot label it as infertility as some more hormonal tests required for your screening. i.e. LH and FSH.
thanks
