General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM, I am Dr Das.

Firstly, the physical examination is totally normal.

The sperm count is within normal limit ( normal is > 15 millions / ml as per WHO 2010).

The motile sperm count is within normal limit.

Morphology is within normal limit.

Other cells are within normal limit.

So, overall, you are absolutely normal. There is no abnormality. Reference - WHO 2010.

General & Family Physician Dr. Michelle Gibson James's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The quantity is normal at 2 ml, this is the minimum amount.

Oiligospermia means a decrease in the sperm count but most labs state that a sperm count above 20 million is acceptable and your value is 30 million.
The other aspects (the ph, the motility and morphology) are also normal.

I hope this helps

Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Oligospermia refers to semen with a low concentration of sperm. (normal count ranges between 50-150million/ml)
This is a common cause of male infertility.

The diagnosis of oligospermia is based low counts on a semen analysis performed on two separate occasions 2 months apart.

Treatment modalities are as follows:
Treating underlying cause like hudrocele, varicocele, or vas deferens obstruction.
Clomiphene citrate, tamoxifen, HMG, FSH, HCG, testosterone, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, anti-oxidants.
IUI-Intrauterine insemination,
Last resort would be ICSI, IVF.

Wish you good luck

DR Nilofer
