Sensation Of Plastic Pill Stuck In Chest, Unable To Eat Or Drink. Advise?
I took a plastic pill yesterday Noon time, and it's felt like it's stuck in my mid chest now. I can't eat or drink water as I can feel the pain in my chest. I drank 2 cans of COKE, as told by my physician, and I still feel it stuck. What else can I do. I'm breathing fine.
I also ate 2 pieces of bread last night to try and push it down. Today I have not eaten anything.

The esophagus as three anatomical narrowing through it course.
The pill could have got struck at any of this narrowing.
According to me the pill would have passed because you are able to swallow solids and fluids without any vomiting.
Probably the pill may have got struck of a brief time and this would have cause inflammation of that area.(esophagitis)
