Sensitive Tonsils And Gums. Painful Sneezing And Swallowing. Gum Infection?
My tonsils are sensitive right now. I was wondering if tonsillitis causes swelling of the guns as well. The pain in my tonsils is only on the right side, as well as the swelling of my gums (right side, all the way to the back). I'm very confused about what might be wrong with me. It's very painful to sneeze, swallow, open my mouth, smile, etc. not sure if my problem is a gum infection or actual tonsillitis. Please help
I have gone through your complaints and try to co-relate them with possible pathophysiological development going on your tonsils and gums. It is clear now that both these are infective pathology and are related to each other. You are at present suffering from acute tonsillitis with gingivitis.
You may take now-
(a) antibiotic.
(b) Anti inflammatory and analgesic.
(c) Antiseptic mouth wash and gargling.
This above treatment will give you temporary relief and ultimately you have to consult ENT specialist and a Dentist for permanent cure.
Regards.
