FOR ACHEIVING ASTHMA CONTROL, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT CORRECT MEDICINE IN CORRECT DOSE IS TAKEN FOR CORRECT DURATION. COMMONEST CAUSE OF FAILURE TO ACHEIVE ASTHMA CONTROL IS NON COMPLIANC TO TAKING MEDICINE ON THE PART OF PATIENT. YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR INHALERS REGULARLY IN CORRECT FORM AS YOUR PULMONOLOGIST ADVISES. DURING EXACERBATIONS, SHORT COURSES OF STEROIDS DO HELP. IF STILL NOT GETTING CONTROL YOU MAY GO IN FOR ANTI IgE INJECTIONS OR DISEASE MODIFYING DRUGS. FOR THESE YOU WILL HAVE TO CONSULT A PULMONOLOGIST.
