Several hours ago, at a party, I drank about 1 oz of some flammable liquid. It was stored in a Chardonnay wine bottle, that was really burnable lamp, with a short wick hanging into that liquid. I was deciding which which wine to have with my meal, sampling a small amount from among 10-12 bottles. I was not wearing my glasses, did not notice an unusual smell, poured about 1 oz, and drank the flammable liquid. The hosts believed it was kerosene. I immediately rinsed my mouth, then drank three or four large glasses of water, before eating dinner. I had/have a slight headache, but had no problem driving 20 minutes home. That is when I Googled my situation, which made it sound very serious. The only other symptom, possibly related to the kerosene, is a canker sore on my tongue. My BM, upon arriving home, was not bloody. I already suffer from IBS. Any suggestions?
