Severe ME, Fibromyalgia, Sweating, Red Spots On Buttocks, PCOS. Treatment For Symptoms?
I m disabled with severe ME and Fibromyalgia and am often bed bound or in a wheelchair and find that I get a really sweaty bum, especially when on the wheelchair as the cushion is plasticy stuff, and have lots of spots on my bum some of which get really big and painful. What can I do? I also get this with one of my chairs where the back bit is, again plasticky stuff. I have PCOS so my hormones are all over the place too.
Hello Dr Faisal here, I have read and understood your query.i hope that you understand well what a severe ME and fibromyalgia do mean. I will suggest you to start with aerobic exercises.manage stress, take healthy diet rich in minerals and other vitamins, and you can visit or take help from a psychologist.you can take amitryptyline 25 mg once a day or gabapentin but only when once you have done with other treatments i have already mentioned. a regular physiotherapy will pull you out of this situation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take Care Regards. Dr. FAISAL BACHA, MEDICAL SPECIALIST (FCPS INTERNAL MEDICINE)
