I am a 39 year old female. Approximately 4 years ago I lost 50 lbs and then started having severe abdominal pain on the lower right side. This pain has become a dull, aching pain since then. 2 months ago I had a complete bowel obstruction that did not require surgery and cleared up on its own. Since then, the abdominal pain has gotten alot worse, and seems to peak after eating greasy foods. Today, I was scheduled for a scope to see if there were any abnormalities that would be causing the pain. To prepare for this I had to administer 2 enemas, 3 hours apart. The first one was fine, no problems. The second one was very painful, I had trouble breathing and felt nauseous and faint. When I evacuated, it was a white, flaky type of stool that sank. I was in a lot of pain after this as well. The scope showed nothing, everything was pink and healthy. I have been burping a lot since the scope as a way of passing the gas instead of what the doctor said. Any ideas??
