Severe Chest Pain And Fatigue With Shortness Of Breath. Tests Are Normal. History Of Being Born With Murmur And Underdeveloped Valve
I m 15 years old. 5 5 137lbs. For about 8 years I ve been having severe chest pain and fatigue. I m always feeling like I have the flu. Lately, my chest pain has been lasting all day and it have shortness of breath during exercise (please note I exercise 3 days a week for an hour with my mom) and when I lie flat. We went in to the doc thinking I had Lyme disease, but I don t. 3 years ago I saw a cardiologist and we did an EKG, and an EEG. Everything showed up normal. My doctor didn t think anything was wrong and sent me home. I was born with a murmur and an under developed valve. My murmur is gone and don t know about the valve. I was always told I would grow out of it, but never got it checked out. Please help me. I m in pain every minute of everyday. I just want answers.
It is important that you get investigated for your underdeveloped valve and also get the condition confirmed by echocardiography and ECG. Cardiac problems might get more prominent during illnesses and that is the reason why you are having chest pain and shortness of breath.
