Severe Clogging In Throat. Ultrasound And Blood Test Reveals Gallbladder Polyups, Vit D Deficiency & Cholesterol Issue. What Is This?

I have had a throat issue for several months now. Currently on Nexium,Claritin,Montekulast, and still have issues. It feels like I eat and then there is pressure in the center of my throat like either the food is stuck or an allergic reaction.Benedryl seems to help, as well has half a valium occasionally. I know my ultrasound and bloodwork showed gallbladder polyups and vitamin D deficiency as well as cholesterol issues. My throat closes up or feels tight on a daily basis and doctors are just guessing at things. any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
First I will address your throat issue.
A complete clinical examination of the throat needs to be done.
You need to consult an ENT specialist.
The history of feeling of pressure and food sticking in the throat suggests that the problem can be in the food-way (pharynx and/or esophagus) and not throat.
However, examination is mandatory to know the exact location.
Gall bladder polyp is proliferation of gall bladder lining.
this condition is usually non-neoplastic however if superimposed by cholecystitis, gall bladder may have to be removed surgically.
The bladder needs pathological examination to know the true nature of the polyp.
Vitamin D deficiency needs to be corrected by vitamin D and calcium supplements.
The cholesterol issues implies, raised cholesterol levels.
Raised cholesterol has to be managed by life style modifications.
If they do not work, medication needs to be started.

thanks and take care
