Severe Constipation After Undergoing Cholecystectomy. Duphalac, Neotonic, Enema Not Effective. Solution?

Sir, regarding my mom's health problem, I am having one query? Can i ask you now?

She has undergone cholecystectomy 2 weeks back, after that she is getting severe constipation. We consulted doctors in the hospital where she has undergone the surgery as well as our family physician they have suggested to use Duphalac, Neotonic Enema, Glycerin Bati, Dulcolax Suppository, and lastly Lactifibre, but still the stools are not clearing properly. I will be too much helpful sir i get your kind suggestion about what need to do.

thanks for using HCM..
your mother has undergone cholecystectomy and now she has constipation...
with this surgery she will have fat intolerence, for which restriction of fat intake is adviced..
the constipation could be due to reduced food intake, reduced fibre intake and lack of exercise..
ask her to take well balanced diet with high fibre content, consuting a dietician would be better..
drink lot of water and do moderate exercise and walking, that will help in bowel movements..
