Severe Dyskaryosis. Had Lletz Procedure. On Augmentin And Metronidazole. What Can I Do?
I have had a lletz proceedures 2 weeks ago. I bled unexpectedly during the proceedure and now two weeks later have been given augmentin and metronidazole to help with infection and subsequent heavy bleeding. Please can anyone tell me, is the extra bleeding a bad sign? My diagnosis was cin 3 severe dyskaryosis before the lletz. I am worried. Iam only 32 with 3 small children and normally a very rational matter of fact person but the worry is enormous at the moment. Thank you.
Sometimes unexpected bleeding can occur at the time of procedure. If the bleeding doesn't continue after the procedure, no need to worry. You have to take regular followup visits after procedure also. Regular pap smear examinations are mandatory. If any abnormality is founded in followup examinations, better to go for hysterectomy with your doctor's advice.
