Severe Hair Loss After Relocating To New Place. Using 5%minoxidil And 5mg Biotin Tablet. Right Treatment?
Hi Doc.. I am a female aged 28 and recently after relocating to a new place is facing severe hair loss. There is very minimum breakage but my hair is falling from the roots. I am using 5% Minoxidil and 5 mg Biotin tab. daily. Can you please tell me approx. how many months will it take for the hair roots to get stronger and hair will start growing ? And is the above combination(Minoxidil 5% and Biotin 5 mg) correct or if anything else needs to be added to it ?

hi hair loss after relocating to new place is due to different climatic conditions.minoxil 5 percent along with 10 mg biotin is beneficial for hair loss.it is to be used for atleast for 3 to 6 months.u should also add selenium.iron and folc acid supplementationfor diffuse hair fall and use a neutral shampoo like triclenz or trigain shampoo.minoxidil should not stopped abruptly because it may cause rebound phenomenon like severe hairloss
