Severe Headache With Back Neck Pain, Feel Swelled And Get Wiggle Lines In Eye. Solution For This Problem?

I get very bad headaches that start at the back of my neck and work around my head, I get wiggle lines that start in one eye and move to the other,I have places on my head that feel swelled when this headache happiend, squeezing both sides of head helps a little, am 29 years old I stopped growning when i was 11 years old am 4 foot 7 in, These headaches are all but killing me.when I get them can t do anything that day,have a hard time rembering thing or forming words afterwards.

Thanks for the query,
Let me tell you that the causes of headache are many and it could be due to migraine, tension headache, bleed in the brain, brain tumor/infection etc. Further, the presence of associated complaints like vomiting, loss of consciousness, weakness of one side of the body etc helps us narrow down the possibilities.

The most likely possibility in your case could be migraine headache. How ever, this is a diagnosis of exclusion.

I will advise you to get evaluated by a local neurologist and get a brain scan done. If this comes normal, the possibility of migraine will be high. You will benefit with medications like valproate, topiramate, amitriptiline etc along with avoidance of stress, rest, relaxation and regular food and sleep hygiene
