Severe Hip Pain During 7th Month Of Pregnancy. Hurts To Squat, Bend, Climb Stairs. Suggestions?

I am currently 7 months pregnant. 1st baby and 3rd pregnancy. Ive been trying to find answrs or cures to my severe hip pain. most of the hip pain questions or comments on sites have been described as at night in bed only. mine this past month has limited my walking ability even during the day. I am a 5 day a week pre work out gal in good shape. 5'9 with a 24 pound weight gain...180 pounds now. I am a registered nurse in the icu department, currently
working 12 hour shifts. this hip pain has become really bad and ive been to massage so far, stil doing my yoga classes if I can tolerate it
1st the pain was thought to be rt sciatic pain, tailbone pain related to pregnancy, which I can deal with..but I actually have left trochanter pain..like my hip has no support for squatting, bending, stairs and by the end of my shift Im almost in tears..super frustrating. is this normal

1. as you said that you feel like there is no support for hip joints on doing Activities of Daily Living (ADL), first consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon for necessary Opinion and who might ask for X-ray of hip joint to rule out any signs of diminished blood supply or hip pathology(bursitis-tendinitis).
2. Also ask for Vitamin.D,S.Calcium level & BMD.

Homeopath Dr. C. J. Varghese's  Response
Hello solacefound,
Your condition is pelvic arthropathy, very common with this stage of pregnancy. This is due to the stretching of the pelvic bones and varying degree of inflammation due to the enlargement of the foetus.
You can take Arnica Montana 30, three times a day and reduce the dosage as you improve. This is a Homoeopathic medicine for the pain and stiffness. If you find some relief in the beginning then followed by no further reduction of pain, then you can try Arnica Montana 200 one dose daily.
This is a Homoeopathic medicine for the pains.
But I would suggest you to undergo a genetic constitutional treatment of Homoeopathy for further cure for your condition.
There is no harm for the baby if you take Homoeopathic medicines. It is safe and simple.
You can continue yoga but no pain killers please.
You may approach an expert Homoeopathic Physician for the treatment at the earliest.

With Best Wishes,

Dr. C. J. Varghese
Homoeopath
