Severe Infection In Lungs, Pain In Chest, Back Spasms. Difficulty Of Swolling Prescribed Mucinex, Feeling Of Tablet Getting Into Lung. Advice
I have been sick for 2 weeks with a nasty lung infection, my doctor has me on quite a bit of meds plus he has me taking a 1200 mg of mucinex. It is a very large pill and I have been having problems getting it down due to the all the breathing issues and severe coughing I have been doing. Last night it felt like the pill went into my lungs, but I figured if it had I would absolutely know. I did have increased chest pain which kept me up most of the night. This afternoon though I starting having terrible back spasms to the point I couldn't walk while the spasms where going on. I havn't had a spasm for a few hours but still feel like something is lodged in the right lung. Although my lung infection has been bad it did not turn into pnuemonia and I just want to get some advice. I am a 35 year old female.
I really dont know what you are suffering from. Whether it is a pneumonia or a bronchiectasis. However what advice do u require? The infection must have been treated with the antibiotics and mucinex has been given for liquifying the mucus i believe. If you are worried about the tablet getting stuck then dont be. It cant Next time dissolve the tablet in a glass of water and then drink it
