Hello and welcome,

As you complains of pain in your fractured teeth, there may be pulpal invovement.

In such cases root canal treatment has to be done to remove the entire infected pulp within the teeth.

IN your case the pain and infection will be severe,if the treatment is postponed for another one year.

I would suggest you to get the treatment soon to avoid periapical abscess formation.
Antibiotics and analgesics has to be administered in complete course.

Crown has to be placed following root canal treatment procedures.

Maintain good oral hygiene.

Place a cotton with formocresol in the fractured teeth until you get the treatment.

TAKE CARE.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
The goals of treatment are to cure the infection, save the tooth, and prevent complications.
Antibiotics may be given to fight the infection. Warm salt-water rinses may be soothing. Over-the-counter pain relievers may relieve the toothache and fever.
Do not place aspirin directly over the tooth or gums, because this increases irritation of the tissues and can result in mouth ulcers.
If there is a severe infection, the tooth may be removed or surgery may be needed to drain the abscess
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful

hello
As you complains of pain in your teeth which got fractured 10 years back , according to the history seems as if RCT has been done because of the pulpal invovement. surely a case of reinfection.

In such cases re-RCT has to be done to remove the entire infected pulp within the teeth.
would suggest you to get the treatment as soon as possible to avoid periapical abscess or cyst formation. which will further leed to severe complications.

Antibiotics may be given in case of infection.
Warm salt-water rinses may be soothing and done 3-4 times a day
pain killer may relieve the toothache
take care

HI,

Thanks for asking the query,

You had a traumatised tooth 10 years back which was rc treated and crowned .
Pain in that particular tooth can be due to re-infection or due to pocket formation.

You get a complete clinical evaluation of your mouth done . take and x-ray
In case of re-infection the crown has to be removed and re-rct of the tooth is required .
Take an antibiotic and analgesic course .
take warm saline gargles.

Get complete oral prophylaxis done.

You should not delay the treatment as chances of infection increases.

I am Dr.Neha Gupta (dentist) and am glad to address to your query here.

you might be having infection or pocket formation
immediately start up with warm saline rinses & betadine rinses, along with antibiotic course including amoxycilline 500mg TDS & ibuprofen 400 mg TDS.
Than visit to your dentist for check iopa x-ray
as there is infection so to protect the tooth RCT has to be done again
