Severe Itching And Swollen Vagina After Having Sex For Second Time, Burning During Urination. Possible Condom Allergy?

Hi. I have only recently had sex for the second time only a few days ago, and now my vagina is swollen around the laboa and clitoris, and itchy, like an uncontrollable urge to itch. He is my first partner and I am his. There is a small possibility I migh be pregnant but it is unlikely. Could it be a condom allergy? There is no discharge or anything else unusual, except that if I'd be itching a lot and it gets swollen and then go to pee, it burns. Could you tell me what it is? If not, anything I can do to help it?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

After sex and now swelling and severe itching but no discharge and fever, may be due to condom allergy or due to infection(bacterial or yeast). For itching you can take anti histamine tablet and since there is increase micturation also get done one urine microscopy and avoid the same company condom, colored or perfumed toilet tissue, change out of wet clothing as early as possible, keep your genital area clean and dry, wear cotton panties and avoid panties made from synthetic materials. Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Hello,

Latex allergy is a very likely possibility and if you get itching on wearing flip flops (shoes with rubber), redness around the mouth on blowing balloons then this confirms the diagnosis.

Occasionally, the first reaction may be manifested as like in your case, so please get tested for this. A blood test specific IgE Latex will be required.
Also if any gels were used during the process, it would be important to check if you have an allergy to that so discuss this with your doctor.

Take a potent antihistamine like Allegra 180 or Cetzine 10mg twice daily for the next week and apply locally calamine lotion.

A urine routine test may be required to exclude an infection of the urinary tract.

I hope that was useful.
Best Wishes.
