Severe Itching In Groin. History Of Having Same Problem, Diagnosed Sensitive Skin, Prescribed Teczine, Eumycot Tab. Advice

My skin and body is prone to allergies. Since a couple of weeks I have felt an unbearable itching in the groin and pubic area. I have resisted itching and thus it hasn't bruised. A couple of years back the same thing happened and I itched so the skin ruptured and it looked red and wet. Back then my dermatologist said it was because we live at the coast in gujarat and my skin is quite sensitive. today being dhanteras none of the dermatologists in my city are available. I request you to kidly give your advice. Last time I was prescribed Ranbaxy teczine and Eumycot tablets and I was asked to continue applying ordinary talc.

Hi. Groin and pubic area traps sweat and moisture so it is prone to Inflammation of body folds of groin (Intertrigo).

Wear loose fitting clothes specially cotton undergarments.
After bath, air dry the area and use an Antifungal dusting powder like Abzorb. you can use it 2-3 times daily.
You can choose to apply antifungal cream containing antifungal like clotrimazole, ketoconazole, sertaconazole, luliconazole for faster relief.
