Severe Leg Pain, Swelling. Taking Hydromorphines, Two Oxy. Suggested As Possibly Diabetic Neuropathy. Advice?

My twin sister is experiencing severe leg pain, so bad that she needs to take two hydromorphines plus two oxy every 4 hours, and this hardly manages the pain. In addition her legs are very swollen. There is no heat or redness in terms of her legs. The doctor she saw said that it was probably diabetic neuropathy. This has been going on for over four weeks now. What advice would you give her? Hi,
In diabetes peripheral neuritis is a common problem.
But in her case as her led is swollen, possibility of having diabetic food should be ruled out.
Consult Diabetic foot specialist and get examined.
Control her diabetes.
Ok and takecare.
