Severe Mood Swings, Mild Depression And COD. Stomach Pain. Advice?
Hello, My daughter was recently dx w benign premature adnarche. She is 8. She has severe mood swings and what seems like mild depression and OCD. She also complains of stomach pains and has a blowel movement after every meal. She has recently been mistaking flatulance from bowel movement and has had several accidents.
What should I do? the pedatrician is stumped and sent us to a GI doc. Thank you
The early signs of a menstrual cycle can easily be blocked/stopped for a while with the help of hormone medication.
The flatualence and other signs of a gastrointestinal condition will have to be further investigated as this is associated with conditions like: -Irritable bowel syndrome -Infections -Inflammatory bowel disease -Celiac diseases And a few other conditions that can result in such a presentation.
