Severe Muscle Spams While Taking Flucloxillin, Calvepen And Solpadine For Leg Infection. Reason For Persisting Convulsions?

Hi I've been taking flucloxillin and calvepen and solpadine for an infection in my leg for the last 8 days and I still have another week of the course to complete but I've been experiencing shaking and severe muscle spasms while on the medication. I was rushed to hospital at one point with suspected septicemia but the doctor ruled that out and said he thought I had a viral infection. But why are these convulsions still persisting? I also have still have shaking, a temperature and fever and it's been a week since I was admitted to hospital and I've developed a sore throat and chesty cough as well....

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your question, if your doctor suspecting viral infection then no need to take any antibiotic medicine and other drugs too, otherwise this could induces the unwanted side effects, that may mimic convulsion, but true is this is not the convulsion, you have to stop the medicines and have symptomatic medicine only when it is greatly needed, have nice day.
