Severe Pain After Fibroid And Fallopian Tube Removal. No Relief With Paracetamol
i had a fibroid and a fallopian tube removed 7 months ago....i am having really bad pain in the area where the op was performed. I have taken 2 paracetemol but it hasnt had any affect.the pain seems to come in waves . I have had this pain two or three times over past few weeks but it always subsides..it seems more intense right now and dosent seem to be getting any better.
There are a few causes for this type of pain. The common cause is collection of fluid in the remaining part of the tube. This leads to painful spasms.
Other reasons are pelvic infections and adhesions to other organs like the intestines or bladder. Gastrointestinal infections and renal stones also cause similar complaints.
So as of now, use probiotics like yogurt and vitamin B complex tablets as they are helpful in controlling intestinal infections. If the symptoms persist or recur then get an examination and an ultrasound ( adhesions may not be seen on ultrasound) to rule out the cause. Please do not worry as all the causes are treatable.
