Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

According to your symptoms i suspect that you have developed severe gum infections.
I would suggest you to visit to an Dentist and get checkup done, take an OPG radiograph .
Go for complete mouth scaling and polishing, curettage and gum planing.
At home take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Take a course of antibiotics and analgesics.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.'

Hope this helps out.

Hello,

Thanks for sharing your concern in this forum,

After reading your problem I am bit confused regarding the area of pain...

I think you are getting pain in gum region where your extraction were done..isn't it?

There might be some inflammation in the gum causing this pain...

If you have pain in that region where extraction was done 15 years back that may indicate the fragment of root inside bone have been infected resulted this problem..but its unlikely to happen...

Take antibiotic and analgesic according to prescription...

If there is calculus deposition then scaling is required for you...

Visit Dentist as soon as possible....

Get well soon...

hi...
thanks for the query...
well... it seems to be periodontitis...
drugs wont help, as long as the causative agent is persistent there... so the cause has to be removed... and the cause is plaque and calculus...
so i will advice you to go for proper scaling and root planing and curettage also... go for proper full mouth radiographs and IOPAs after that... go for resective and regenerative surgeries wherever required... maintain good oral hygiene after that...
also go for prosthesis for missing teeth...
hope it will help you..
take care...

hi dear thanks for posting the query

going by your words it seems you have localized aggressive periodontitis( usually it never pains ) but sometime because of increase in mobility patients feel pain.

Its better to visit a Periodontist( Gum Specialist ) he might be able to help you

thanks
