Severe Pain In Knee Area (front & Back) MRI Indicates

Severe pain in knee area (front & back) MRI indicates low back problems such as slipped discs, ruptured disc and the pain radiates into the inside of my right leg; down to the knee, straight down into my foot. The only medicine that will relieve the pain is Lyrica which I hate taking due to bad/terrible side effects (take 50 mg. cap only when the pain gets so bad I cannot stand it any longer. My neurologist has given up on me. I have been seeing him for about 8 yrs. Help, what can I do to get rid of the pain?
