Severe Pain In Testicle When Touched. History Of Bicycle Smashing Groin In Childhood. Normal Sex Life. Advised Against Any Intervention For Treating Pain. Help

I'm now almost 50 but when I was about 10 I crashed my bicycle smashing my groin onto the handle bars. For a day or so after the accident I had blood in my urine. My parents didn't take me to a doctor at the time. Since this time I've had pain at the front of my right testicle and if someone touches the front of my right testicle the pain makes me jump. I've had two kids and have had a normal sex life and that's all fine. My question is, can I get a procedure to fix the pain? In the past when I've asked my GP there advice was to leave it as any intervention could leave me unable to have an erection and with the pain being manageable if my right side is avoided then the risk of intervention was too high. Is that still good advice or have surgical techniques improved?

There is no such intervention necessary to cure pain. If it gets swollen or any colour changes then have to do test to find cause of pain.
Simple anelgesics will cure in few weeks
do not bear weight as it can produce more symptoms.

First, get a colour doppler of the scrotum and check the status of right testis.
If there is any lesion,then you can get it treated.
There will be pain in the scrotum without any disease.
Unless a disease is present,treatment is not needed.
If you come back with colour doppler report,i will clarify further
