Severe Pain In The Thigh And Buttocks. Had Spinal Fusion. Have Mild Arthritis. Whom Should I Consult?

I have extreme pain in my right thigh that makes me feel from time to time that the bone is going to break. At this time, I also have pain in my right buttock. The arthritis doctor says that I only have very mild hip arthritis. I just had in November of last year, L4-L5 fusion. My ortho says that he does not think that it is my back. He can not figure what is the problem. What other kind of doctor can I go to, to find out what the problem is. The pain is getting worse, from just when I walk to laying in bed or sitting.

Looking at history of previous surgery at back & continuous pain at thigh ,i shall advice you to consult to a neurologist .This may be connected with compression of nerves.Neurologist will be able to rule out the cause of this pain.

Hope this will help you.
