Severe Pain In Throat And Neck While Eating. History Of Swallowing Chicken Bone Stuck Above Wind Pipe, Which Came Out After Struggling. No Relief From Antibiotics. Suggest

Good evening.......
My wife swallowed a chicken bone by mistake which got stuck above the wind pipe...
The whole night she was suffering as we were not able to get a doctor since it was a Sunday here.
The next day it came out by after much struggle.
Next day she was having irritation and was taken to an ENT specialist.
She was given 2 antibiotics/ another for relieving pain and a mouth wash/
Now after 5 days she still has the pain when having a meal plus a huge pain on the neck whci she says is very painful/
Can you please tell me know what it needs to be done..?

Hello,
Have you done a X ray neck AP and Lateral views. if not get them done as there can be another piece left behind.
if Xray done and normal, Than take antibiotics 7 day course , multivitamins, antireflux medicines and antacid gel.
